Linen is a natural fibre and with its light and breezy feel, is perfect for the Australian climate. Made from the flax plant, linen has stronger fibres than cotton and is generally a little heavier. Its ability to wick moisture makes it even more suitable for summer wear, particularly with a longer sleeve for sun protection.
We’ve been enjoying with the elegant Natalie Decorte (above), who started her career as a ballerina before moving on to modelling. She's now a mother of four children living in beautiful, rural Warranulla, NSW.
We matched Natalie in navy and white Breton tops, with her daughter Margot in the cotton and Nat in the linen.
Our Breton linen white base navy stripe top has a relaxed fit with a 7/8 sleeve. Could these tops be the best sun protection during the hot summer months? We think absolument.
