    We’re pleased to welcome to our Spring collection our new Bouclé tops.Bouclé fabric has a rich history, particularly in its association with premium French fashion. 
The term “bouclé” derives from the French word meaning to curl, or loop, though the fabric is sometimes also known as “buckled tweed.” The fabric is characterised by its looped yarn, adding texture and depth.     Our beloved Brigitte cotton dress is back this season in a white base and navy stripe (above). You’ve probably guessed that for this piece, we took inspiration from Brigitte Bardot who wore this style of casual dress on the French Riviera.    The Brigitte features a hem that falls to the knee and has a soupçon (5%) of elastane in the fabric to keep its shape and comfort. The just-released white base/blue stripe pictured above has three-quarter-length sleeves. I'm back after a wonderful séjour in Thailand, where the warm and amazingly dry weather was a welcome relief from cold, rainy Sydney. We spent our first couple of days in Bangkok, firstly visiting must-sees like the Grand Palace, a variety of Buddhas and some of the luxury shopping malls. On day two, we took a private tour out of Bangkok to the Damnoen Saduak floating market, a coconut plantation and the extraordinary Mae Klong train market.
